UHS Board of Regents Sets Tuition Rates for FY2014

UH Students Cycling Cross Country in Support of People with Disabilities

University of Houston students Michael Brooks and Matthew Docimo embarked on a 4,000-mile bike ride in San Francisco, Calif. on June 9. A little more than a week into their ride, they have made their way into eastern Nevada. Their goal: cycle all the way to Washington, D.C. by Saturday, August 10, in support of people with disabilities.

UH, Methodist Hospital Research Institute Receive $695K to Further Robotics Research

The Cullen Foundation and The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research have awarded grants to a robotics research project by the University of Houston and The Methodist Hospital Research Institute. The Cullen Foundation has directed $495,000 in philanthropic support to the research project and the TIRR Foundation has given $200,000 to purchase Rehab Rex, the latest version of a robotic exoskeleton patients use to "walk."
